My 5K Running Workout Playlist

I know I’ve disappeared for a long, long while but I’m back, kinda. So yes, you’ve read my headline right. Your girl is training trying to run a 5K race in April. No, I have not signed up to run one yet but I plan to in the near future! Running a 5K is on my imaginary bucket list (I know, piece of cake for the average human but I have lots of jiggle) and I finally decided to stop thinking about doing it and finally do it. Well, yesterday was my first day running on the treadmill since my bout with bronchitis (it was not cute AT ALL). I’m happy to say I didn’t stop and I ran the hilly 5K option on the treadmill in 32 minutes. I thought I was going to die afterwards but I did it!! The only motivation (other than seeing the finish line) was my super duper awesome playlist I made for it. I wanted to share it with the masses 5 readers I have and hopefully, this can motivate you to kick ass in the gym as well. Thank me later!!!

2. Flo Rida – Good Feeling (DON’T LAUGH! This song cranks in the gym!)

7. LMFAO – Sexy and I Know It (Again, don’t laugh & judge. This song is stupid funny and very motivated while sweaty!)

9. Magic System – Ambiance a l’africaine (A little African music goes a long way in keeping your energy up.)

Another fun Fatou tip, to stay motivated, not only do I crank these songs up, I pretend that I’m the star video ho in each video. That really keeps my energy. Yes, I’m a fool.
