Funny of the Day

September 30, 2010 4 comments

Thank you Divorce Court for the 5 pounds I just lost laughing. This woman, Dietra Hicks, was battling her ex-husband in court to get her ring back that he stole and gave to his mistress/new wife. Sadly, that’s not the funny part. Dietra also has extreme anger issues, and has physically fought her ex-husband on more than one occasion. Still, that’s not the funny part. Dietra went to anger management classes and her therapist told her to rid her anger through song. That’s exactly what she did in court. I’m here to share the gift of laugh to my 10 many lovely readers so please enjoy & feel free to leave comments.

Props to one of my favorite blogs, Vulture, for the heads up on this. Follow them @Vulture on Twitter as well!

Albert Haynesworth busted Chris Cooley’s precious face!

September 29, 2010 1 comment

I kid, kid! It was all an accident in practice. Check out Chris Cooley giving the scoop on his busted face.

Even with him looking like he’s infected with the Herpes, I’m sure most of the ladies would still hit it. But you’re gonna have to fight off his super cute ex-Redskin cheerleader wife Christy.

Side note – You’ve probably seen Christy Cooley’s ad in the latest People Magazine. It’s part of the “Fit For You” marketing campaign for NFL’s women centric website. Check it out!!

Fail of the Day

September 29, 2010 Leave a comment

This goes to Sarah Murdock, host of Australia’s Next Top Model, who, ON LIVE TV, accidentally named the wrong winner. Only after the wrong winner, Kelsey Martinovich, gave her heartfelt acceptance speech did Sarah realize that she actually named the wrong winner. I mean, does this type of mistake deserve the swift pink slip? She at least deserves to wear the “Dunce of the day” cap in sit in the corner. Check out this laughtastic fail.

PS – The right winner is Amanda Ware, and Foxtel, the network that broadcasts the show, is more than making it up to Kelsey. She’ll receive around $25,000 in cash and the two models will both appear on the cover of Australia’s Harper’s Bazaar. But back to my original question, is Sarah Murdock getting the boot?

Photos courtesy of @BradBurnside. Hit him up if you have Twitter and he can capture awesome shots of you too!! He can also photoshop if you’re interested.

PS – Rihanna’s hair is a complete Ronald McDonald fail!

…but on my future baby daddy Lenny Kravitz, it looks great!! I seriously LOVE his style & he’s the ONLY one who could get away with this tomfoolery. What do you think of his ensemble?

Judge away & vote on his look.

Feel free to leave me comments too. I’ll allow you to judge me on my opinion, one I refuse to take back!!

One of my favorite moments of Week 2

September 21, 2010 1 comment

Yes, it’s from my beloved Washington Redskins. Yes, the Washington Redskins do not have a running game, yes, the Washington Redskins blew a 17 point lead & LOST (NO running game does that to you) but I have to say one of my favorite moments of week 2 was my boy, Clinton Portis & his AMAZING blocking skills. Anyone who listened to me last year knows that I was ready to have a burning ritual ceremony for my Clinton Portis jersey. That’s how much I was disgusted with him. The recession & the hiring of Mike Shanahan made me rethink my decision & I’m glad! For those who missed this amazing moment, check out 26 –
